Hey, is there any way i can have some pretty flowers fully bloomed in my front garden in the next couple of weeks? I'm guessing that the only option is to buy fully grown flowers, as seeds will take too long to grow, but i'm not sure which ones i should get. Any advice would be really appreciated.
I think you've answered your own question. Take a trip to the stores/garden centres and buy those you like/can afford. Any more complex advice would need details of your location, soil type, garden size and layout, etc..
I went down to our local garden centre this morning, they had huge bags of daffoldil bulbs with daffs poking up through the netting where they had grown 'in the bag'. It would be very easy to get the fully grown ones out and replant in soil. Instant flowers.
Aubretia is coming out now, will last for ages and comes up every year and gets bigger year on year if you let it spread. Also Pansies in all colours; keep deadheading and they will go on and on.
yes, thank you so much for all your help, I wasn't sure if it was warm enough to plant them yet, but i'm so happy I can make my front garden look pretty. I will go to b and q and keep an eye open for the flowers you mentioned.
