Hand Held Vacuum Cleaner

Can anyone recommend a hand held vacuum cleaner for my stairs, I don't need the full expensive Dyson or Ram just a hand held thing. Thanks

G-tech do one but it is not cheap.

there are many on the market which sadly don't seem to live up to the job..may be better in the long run to go for something like the Gtech.. I have the Dyson but expensive...it was a gift I hasten to add...

I have the hand held gtech specifically for the stairs and our cars. I am very pleased with it. It was not cheap but I have spent many years buying the most inexpensive items and, so often, it is 'buy cheap, buy twice'

Jake I agree..must have had 2 or 3 and mum got fed up with my moaning and bought me the Dyson

If you really don't want a Dyson handheld, the only other Best Buy recommended by Which? is the Vax Gator....there were several vacs so bad that they were given the "Don't Buy" accolade.

We’ve just gone back to a Dyson after trying a Vax which wasn’t built the same and didn’t perform the same. We went for a V7 Motorhead Pro which converts to a handheld and is excellent.
