Musty Leather Handbag

I have just bought a leather handbag in a charity shop. It is top quality but smells musty. How can I get rid of the smell?

Could you set it outside in the sunlight for a few hours?

Also, perhaps put a dryer sheet inside the bag.

Last, rub the exterior with a leather cleaner.

I bet that will make it smell good as new!

A tip from Kim and Aggie,is to sprinkle bicarbonate of soda on the musty object,leave it for a while to let the powder soak up the smell,and then hoover up. Iv'e tried this on different things,and it does work generally.
