Do anyone know how we can get rid of the smell of a dead rat which was under the floorboards for over 2 weeks before we managed to find it?

there are in fact two dead rats ?
the smell should sorta go with the carcass

^ I'm with PP there is never just one rat. If you found 1 under the floorboards there will be a nest of them somewhere out of sight. You may need to call a professional rat catcher .

We have already had Rentokil in and this resulted in the dead rat under the floor boards :(

I used something called EARTHCARE odour remover which I got from Amazon and it worked for me, hope it helps.
