I've just discovered that I can no longer reach the tops of shrubs using a ladder. I am looking at telescopic cordless hedge trimmers.
Can anyone recommend a tried and tested one and will the cordless be much heavier than a mains one......I have small hands....
I think there are also petrol driven ones but I'm not keen on that...
This come out top in the reviews on Amazon and, at "just over 3kg", is quite a bit lighter than many other models. The price seems reasonable too:

Recommendations from AB are only classed as 'spam', Spath, if they've clearly come from someone who's only interest in being here is posting spam links for profit.
I would go for a corded one, as they are much less unwieldy than the battery models.
You may also want to maintain your shrubs at a lower level, thats what I've done and its so much easier.
