Telescopic Hedge Trimmer.

I've just discovered that I can no longer reach the tops of shrubs using a ladder. I am looking at telescopic cordless hedge trimmers.

Can anyone recommend a tried and tested one and will the cordless be much heavier than a mains one......I have small hands....
I think there are also petrol driven ones but I'm not keen on that...

I would go for a corded one, as they are much less unwieldy than the battery models.
You may also want to maintain your shrubs at a lower level, thats what I've done and its so much easier.

The shrubs are too high to cut to a lower level now, Chip.....I needed the height above fences for the position my garden is in.....x

my sister has an electric one off a cord and swears by it, about an extra six or seven feet up and not that heavy.
