Coir/jute Rugs

I'm looking for a large rug (10'x11') for a room which gets a lot of use (it's an entrance hall/dining room which we have to walk through to get to the kitchen). Fancied a coir or jute rug but am worried they are tricky to clean. Any advice?

A bit of googling finds loads of links which say that the important thing to remember when cleaning such natural fibres is to avoid using water (or any other liquid cleaner). Otherwise it seems straightforward enough. e.g. https:/
