Water Dripping Down The Ceiling....
12 Answers
I poked a hole and water is gushing down...
Can't get help from a roofer I used before being a Sunday..
I phoned home insurance emergency cover and asked a contractor to come and look at it.
The call handler says being racing and still wet, the contractor nay not be able to do anything.
Is sounds right.? I don't want the small leak to result into a major insurance claim....
I think the high winds must have moved the tiles...
What do you guys think. ?

By not getting a contractor to your property quickly, the Ins Co are risking there being much more damage that they will be forking out to put right. A contractor could attend to put a tarpaulin over the roof to minimise any damage. Make a note of all points of contact for future reference. And, when it’s all sorted, change your Ins Co!
Newbe although it's no help to you, roofing companies been really busy recently, with strong winds and rain causing problems.
But on the plus side rain should start to subside this afternoon.
All you can do is keep collecting / decanting water to prevent further damage until contractors arrive.
All the best x
