Can anyone tell me if the yellow rose carpet is less sturdy than the red? Also does it need full sunshine or will it grow in the shade. I have ground I need to cover but alas it is in the shade, What can I grow?

No rose will flourish in complete shade, not even the ground cover ones. Had you thought about periwinkle?

My Hydrangeas do very well in full shade.
