a mate of the young albas goes to auctions to replenish his stock for his car boot sales.
He has 6 balls of wool, different colours, which I've offered to make something out of for him to try to sell.
He suggested maybe something a bit ''hippy'' and the only thing I could think of was beanies.
Haven't yet seen the yarn, but would any of you have any ideas please as to what else might be 'hippy'?

My other suggestion of Willie Warmers embarrassed the lot of them :-)

oooh, I like that Pix, thank you. xx

No fiddly sleeves to bother about, that idea is an absolute gem! x
Not great at knitting myself... unless you want a triangular small scarf with holes in, but I'm sure you will be fine :-)
Poncho is a great idea.

This are quite trendy for the cooler months too.

I've donated about a dozen beanies and a few knitted waistcoats, he sold the beanies for £2 a pop and £3 for the waistcoats. (simple patterns)
I'm using the knitting as an excuse to keep the fingers supple.
I'm almost competent lol x
