Why is fluff blue/grey?

When fluff accumulates in my home or office it is always a blue/grey colour. Why??

I think the reason is probably that the fluff, that is perhaps colourless attracts household/office dust which is usually a grey colour. The majority of dust is actually dead human skin. Although we come in a variety of colours, the pigments that determine our colour are below this first layer of skin, which is a translucent blue grey/colour.
