Lawnmower Problem
10 Answers
I have an Ibea petrol mower and at the end of the Summer it would not start. I checked the plug and it is full of petrol. After a few presses of the primer rubber thingy and with the dead mans hand tied up the mower will just make the sound as if it is about to roar into action, (i.e. the spark plug works), when it just dies. It is as though it is not getting any petrol. Any suggestions welcome to save me the expense of taking it to a Mower shop?

Can't find a clip specific to an Ibea machine .. but just go on Youtube and type .. mower caburettor repair service.
There are hundreds of them .. watch a few and you will get the idea.
Personally I would drain off any fuel that is in the tank.
Remove the carb taking care with any gaskets and dismantle it. Spray any ports and jets with carburettor cleaner. Dry and reassemble it. The chances are as others have already said ..
Your problem is fuel related .. or the shortage of it!
