Is It Dead??

Sounds absolutely ridiculous I know, but I have a plant in a pot that looks dead. But I dont remember what it is, or whether it’s just out of season. How do I know if it’s actually died or not?? #wally.com

It’s probably root bound, and needs either putting in the ground or a bigger pot.
The very nice April has been deceptive, and it is still quite early.

I genuinely don’t know what it it is, and I have zero sense of smell which doesn’t help! I suspect it’s a lavender plant tho.

It’s actually in quite a big pot! But I take on board comments and I will try to re ‘post’ today. Maybe it’s just that then.....

You could try giving it the"Thumb nail scrape".
gently scrape the bark with your thumb nail or coin, if it shows green under the bark then its still alive and worth some TLC.

When you say it looks dead, what does it look like.
Leaves. No leaves. Brown leaves. Yellow leaves. Has it been overwatered. Is the soil wet.
