Horses for courses UK. I don't seem to need to drill so much these days, particularly masonry or metal, so I don't have much need for a monster drill. For instance anyone who needed a good core drill would need a drill that was not an impact drill and was able to be adjusted to various speeds. Myself ... I find I use my multifunction good old Black and Decker mainly to drive in screws for fencing and gardening etc. and only drill the odd bit of timber, so I could get along nicely with and impact driver and drill chuck. I already have a very good set of drills for wood, masonry, and metal anyway, including spade drills for door furniture etc. Ya makes ya choice, and pays ya money.
