This is a really stupid question, but I'll ask it anyway. I'm about to order Sky tv through their website, and on the form I need to fill in, it's asking wether the dish can be installed below 30 feet. I'm no good at judging measurements like this. I'm in a second floor flat, with average height ceilings.
Bearing that in mind, do you think I'm likely to fall within this height restriction, to avoid a 'special' installation (whatever that means)? Others in the flats below have their dishes on their side walls, so it wouldn't necessarily need to go on the roof. Rough guess anyone?
I would guess the average storey height is about 10 feet, so assuming you are the 3rd floor (ground,1st,2nd) you should just make it. Can you drop a ball of string or something out of the wondow, then measure that?
I would think you would be fine. Average ceiling height 10-12 foot x 2 =20-24. It only needs to be floor height. I would tick it if you havn't already done so.
