I have bright orange walls and green curtains and a grey carpet in my bedroom. What would a nice colour be to have in that room. Would like some advice please. Thank you

If my bed looked like that, i'd sleep downstairs on the settee. Couldn't be arissed fluffing up those cushions and arranging them 'just so' every time i get out of bed. Far too much faffing about for my liking.

That's rather pretty, Lcg. I remember when you were looking for wallpaper. It turned out well.
I'm thinking of painting the spare bedroom a pale dove grey. My daughter would appreciate it more than the current sage green. She's very much a neutral person, and couldn't cope with my dark teal boho bedroom. ;)

Yes, I like it, Pasta, and that's why we decided to keep it the same in this new house and we managed to get the blind in the same pattern for the dressing room, made to measure.

The point is, Ken, that some of us take pride in our homes and I am a believer that a bedroom should always have a luxurious feel to it. Different rooms around the house should have different vibes.

Spicey, i always take my own brewing gear with me. Learnt a long, long time ago that some customers want you to drink tea with them all day long while others won't even offer you a cuppa.
As for showing my true feelings about the decor - i like to think i'm a decent poker player :-)
