Bay Window Roof
3 Answers
A company was replacing the lead covering on our front bay window roof .
Just as they had completed / nearly completed replacing the board that the lead sits on , it started to rain , so the board got wet , before they put he lead covering on .
I don't know what material the board is made from .
My question is - will the board be ok , even though it got wet , before they put the lead covering on it ?

shuttering ply or OSB(oriented strand board)/Sterling Board.
Any of these can take a lot of wetting before they eventually disintegrate... but that would take weeks.
Ok, it's not ideal, but the board will soon dry out from underneath even after covering.
As Sir Lancelot Sqad would say........... "no big deal" :o)
