Any views please on whether its worth having an air fryer for just one person? Also if any one has done this, which one did they buy? Thanks

Roadman, it is a small countertop fan oven with advantages. Living on my own I had a single air fryer. Dave brought one when he moved in and we used two.
We now have a Ninja with two smaller compartments and use it all the time for almost everything we cook. I haven't yet done what some do and "throw an egg in for ten minutes" though. :-)
The Ninja would be ideal for one person and save on fuel costs.

Perhaps the question should be the other way round.
Something also to be wary off is how many articles show the power saving. Conventional ovens do not run at 3KW continually - they have thermostats and some are pretty well insulated these days.
These mini ovens also have thermostats but generally are not insulated although are on for a much shorter period of time.
A combination microwave oven can also vary.
