When Openreach are installing Fibre and they need access across a driveway, in England Scotland and Wales, are they digiging a trench or are they using a mole as to avoid ruinng a driveway with a unsightly patch?

and when I say a mole, I dont mean the furry animal !

In many instances Openreach are running the fibre to the home using existing telegraph poles, no digging of drives needed, woodchopper.

 

Where possible they won't dig a trench but if they do they should remedy the work and return to previous conditions 

Our front garden is gravel so they dug a trench and recovered it. No probs.
