have you tried putting them in the dishwasher?

pull them out before they start to dry and the muck rubs right off

I hate that job - so my husband does it.  ;o)

Oven cleaning is up there for me too Mally.  I'm going to have to do it soon too because everytime I put the oven on high for yorkies, the room fills with smoke.  This is despite having a removable lining in one and a lining shelf in the other.

I hate vacuuming the stairs as well.

I found my little kitchen Hoover easier and safer to use

mally, you get bags with Oven Pride.  You don't need anything to soak them in.

Question Author

i was referring to the on line ones where you wrap them in tin foil and add dishwasher tablets  and soak in a bath for a few hours x

I use OP too.  Still hate the job.

Mally, I bought a big, very strong plastic trough from Lake an
