At the mo, my room is deep pink & white it's really warm & cosy. However, I'm moving house soon & think it's time I decorated my room a bit more grown up! I'm thinking of pale browny neutral shades... but would this make the room seem cold?

I have a room that i have painted a really rich cream colour and just one wall is chocolate. it loks lovely and is not at all 'cold' looking. you can also dress the room with vases and picures to brighten it up

if you go for a rich cream rather than a white then you should be ok. a nice mid brown or beige goes very nice with cream
