we have white painted walls in the porch, we also have some plants. unfortunately the walls in the porch are going black with dirt, which is very difficult to clean and also the leaves of the plants are going a bit black. i would be very grateful if someone had any ideas on how to get rid of the damp or condensation and keep the walls clean and plants dry. many thanks Baljit

I'm guessing that your porch is fully enclosed and fairly small and the "black dirt" is possibly mouldor milldew.

Plants perspire during the night-time and produce the dew we see in the mornings, it could be that the area is too confined for growing plants, or you may not have adequet ventilation..
