part of a radiator i have is corroded which in turn is making the radiator leek, Whilst i appreciate that this will have to be replaced at some point, is there anything i can do on a temporary basis to patch it up/repair.
Thanks

laurence, As hard@it recommends, look to replace the radiator asap. In the mean time, turn off the valves on either side of the radiator ( if one of them is a thermostatic valve, remove the head and screw on the plastic isolating head - this will prevent any water seeping through the valve ). You should then be able to drain all the water out of the radiator by placing a bowl underneath the leak, or alternativley, slacken one of the union nuts inbetween the radiator and one of the valves.
