How many seeds should I plant in 1 pot? The pots are about 3"/7.6 cm.

If you have some fresh seed, would risk 5 or 6 in a 3" pot, as they are only about this( . )big. The usual method of propagation is vegative ie devision of rhizomes / "bulbs" Flowers are usually pinched out as they are thought to weaken the plant.


If you do manage to germinate some seed, then well done! I guess you can prick them out into individual pots of about the same size once they are big enough to handle. Poor acidic soil or african violet mix is recomended. Good Luck..

Cheers for that, all I have to do now is wait for about 4 years for them to get fully grown.
