All the young leaves on my rhododendron emerged a pale green to yellow colour this year. What's the problem?

This is almost certainly a iron deficiency, which is also a problem for camellias, roses and fruiting plants and can be fatal if not treated. Most garden centres will sell a form of iron that can be sprinkled on the soil or sprayed on the leaves.
