I am going to attemp a land drain myself this weekend. I have all the gear but need to know this:

Can I run the pipe into a Rodding Access pipe or do I have to run it directly into a drain from gutter or otherwise?

Cheers

If you are piping your land drain you should run your pipe into the Stormwater system, not the Soil system. So run it into the drain from the gutter.
I think you might need building regs approval before starting this

Agree with both the above !!

Any form of surface drainage should go into the "storm drain" not the foul water system.

I agree with all of them but remember you may need a silt pit, this is like an inspection chamber but has a deeper bottom so any soil or silt collects here and not in the storm water system, thus avoiding blockages.
