Stop tap key?
5 Answers
Anyone know where I can get a key to fit a hexagonal stop tap?
I've not seen a stop tap like this before and the plumb centres only recognise the conventional square head type.
Please help.
Thanks
Nick

You may be able to use a pair of Mole Grips. As long as you can get the grips to close and lock on the head, turning the head should be easy.
On the other hand, depth should not be a problem for a long handled nut spinner. Some of them have a shaft length of about 500mm. You would have to measure the size of the head to ensure you hire or buy the right sized nut spinner.
If it's too deep, you may have to resort to a socket and extension tubes but again you'll need the exact head size to prevent slippage.
