Leather Sofa
10 Answers
A friend of mine has a light cream leather sofa which had got grubby.
She cleaned some of it it with some washing up liquid and warm water but rubbed it. She has been left with a discoloured section which has almost 'bobbled' up.
Any ideas what she can do? Thanks!

She should use a leather conditioner to try to restore the moisture. However, the leather could be of the type that is coated in plastic sealant (many of the cheaper leather sofas have this) so it could be this sealant that has been damaged and is bobbling.

I meant Dove soap (the bar) or tesco version of the Dove soap bar - I wouldnt try the bath stuff though. i was told this by someone who works in a leather furniture shop - rub a bit of dove soap onto a soft white cloth and rub gently over the stain.
