hope one of you abs can give me advice.
when is the best time to harvest sweet pea pods for seeds
next year.

When the pods turn yellow and begin to dry out. They should feel papery to the touch. Let them dry for a few days before removing the seeds. Place on a paper towel in the sunlight until they crack open on their own... Good luck!
