I have some old furniture which I wish to sell. Can anyone suggest a way for me to identify salient details about it, such as wood, age, approximate value etc. I don't think it is antique, and am looking to sell it myself, but know nothing about it. There is a design code reference on each item, and it says it is HL registered, but no luck finding any reference to this.

HL registration means that the furniture was originally part of a scottish business partnership that perhaps went into dissolution thru the courts, sounds odd but could this be the case? Do you know of any such history to the possible owner maybe in business in Scotland?
