Does anyone know - I've seen him around on adverts for gardening programs, but he hasn't been seen in Ground Force for ages, even when they go back and re-visit places they've done the year before. Has he left the series, had an argument, changed his career? Thanks all.

He's left both Ground Force and Gardener's World for pastures anew (excuse pun!) ...... you'll soon see him presenting BBC natural history programmes - I think he is being groomed as the 'next' David Attenborough.

Thanks. Don't think he's quite the same calibre as our beloved Richard A, though......
I much prefer Simon King to Mr Titchmarsh as a wildlife presenter - but it does seem that the BBC have chosen him for some prime time programmes in the future.

He's probably doing more novels as well - here is his own site for everything Alan....

Cetti - I sincerely hope that you did a search to find that web address & didn't already know of its existence!
