i have storage heaters charging at night on economy 7 but sometimes i have to work away, coming home to a cold house, can i put a timer on the storage heater so it charges the night before i come home,
How long are you away for? If it`s only a couple of nights, wouldn`t it be worth leaving the heaters on? It costs more for them to heat up from cold than ticking over even if you`re not there. If it`s longer periods, then how about getting a friend or neighbour to pop in the evening before you`re due back to switch them on? I don`t think that a timer is a possibility, but someone out there may prove me wrong!
