Leather shoes

i recently bought a lovely pair of leather pump style shoes.They are my size and fit nicely ..but the leather is so hard ! I have been rubbing Renapur into them with no effect . I have worn them once and got a blister for my trouble .What else can I do to soften them up ?

Oh no...not more more people who lived in tin baths whilst eating bread and dripping and wearing a liberty bodice .
Actually when I look back to my childhood it seemed quite idyllic really in spite of the tin bath .All those summers spent on the beach in my knitted cossie .
I remember we had a beach hut which my dad gave away when we moved to Kent .He gave it away ! It would be worth a small fortune now .
Anyway ..hope you are all creaking along nicely ..and where else could one bask in the hot sunshine yesterday and wake up this morning to a howling north easterly wind and the threat of torrential rain ...but Norfolk .
Still ...it was nice while it lasted .

Morning Shaney weather's changed here too. It was a beautiful day yesterday and now it's b****y raining again. Not got much to tell everybody today. May go out tonight if I can find some one to go with. My rock and roll friend is well into this new relationship and I don't see her very often nowadays. Given my home a good clean in the last two days so feel better about that and yesterday I trimmed all my shrubs which were taking over and had finished flowering.
Just read that lot and it sounds so boring....... so I think I'll shut up and hope that Vinny comes on and makes us all laugh. As he says Catch yer later dudes :o)

Hi there folks ..it's been a lovely day here ..hot and sunny although very windy ..but par for the course ..we had a short shower about a hour ago ..but Mr Sun has got his hat again now for a while .Anything is better than yesterday which was like the middle of winter !
My troops were washed out in Wimbledon ..but they are on the way home so weather permitting we are hoping to have a breeze round the Somerleyton Festival tomorrow ...but I am not holding my breath
Failing that I shall have to set sail in my yacht to get away from the rabble .....all my friends have yachts yer know and properties abroad ......we are so posh we have cream teas on the poop deck !

Haha Vinny ..bit like taking your electric toothbrush on a weeks holiday canoeing up the Amazon .
But of course I would be on me yacht so I could dip me teeth in the salt water and shove 'em back in me gob !
I may get the butler to polish the Daimler and have a run up to Derby and sort that custard tart shop out ...I can't take the Merc...he has been so lax this week with the Brasso and it needs a clean ...it has a boot full of dirty wellies and old pacamacs .
My lot are still not back from washed out Wombledon ....where my sons Skoda was well washed !!
Serves him right ....he never cleans it !

Hope your troops found there way home shaney,the rains been terrible in some parts.My daughters just rung me,and she's trying to get to the front of the T4 on the beach...its on telly at 1:30.I tried a few bottles of Cusqueňa last night..its the beer from Perũ.its made from pure glazier water from the top of the Andes.They boast it doesent give you a hangover....bloomin heck..! its true....(:O)

It's lovely here today and I'm off to a good start. Done my tai Chi and my exercises which I started doing last week cos I'm putting on weight having retired, I don't run about as much as I used to. Don't know how long I will keep doing them but I am determined to get a bit off for my son's wedding on the 11th August.
I'm having a Dylan weekend. Playing his Bootleg Series of 3 CDs which my eldest bought me for Christmas.
The sun is shining for a change here, and doesn't it make you feel better?

I'd like to say I'd been hurtling around the AB corridors but I've had a nasty flu type bug too & I'm still not firing on all cylinders. Hope you're feeling better if you've been ill & most of all that you're safe & dry....those poor people with the floods, heartbreaking.
Tarquin went to a puta fair today & picked up, erm,....an oojarkerpiffy I think he said & fixed it but I still need, erm....a doobrie.....but it's working ok on the present one for now.

Lovely to see my favourite little video Vinny (Zombies) ...I was a modul for that you know, hehe.....I've been listening to a lot of radio in the wee small hours while I've not been well & they played that 2 nights ago! turned it up so you'd know I was thinking of you all...but then I couldn't hear it for my neighbour doing some hammering....tut.

Anyway it's luvvly to be back...albeit on me ownsome....tut...no red pegrug....thanks again for mails & I might reply if ya lucky.....lol.

HHHiiiiiii Robi Great to have you back I have been quite worried about you. Sorry you've been poorly and glad you're on the mend.
I've only just had my Sunday Lunch as I had a visitor. One of the young lads that came to Sains. when he was sixteen who I trained to work a till came to see me out of the blue. He is now 25 and lives in York. We sat talking for 2 hours and he left after 2 cups of tea and Ham salad cobs. So my Sunday has been different to say the least.
For the last week I have had a bad chesty cough and my Pharmicist (Is that spelt right) recommended Robitussin. Honest.
