Hi .
Shaney was a beautiful dog,
Shaney, his gentle nature comes across even in a photo. A strange thing to say but it's true: I'll remember him. One of our poets, Lars Forsell, also died this summer. He once said
It's not the ageing that's painful, it's the weaning yourself away from being young. We see that so clearly with our animals, don't we, because of their short life span. I'll remember Shaney's longing to be swimming once more and I'll remember your love for him.
Glad you liked daTyger,
Jude! I was referring to your son's wedding reception - didn't you say it was going to be at a golf club...? (Earlier this year, when you attended another golf club wedding reception...?)
LOL
Robinia, I'm afraid that jig-and-jiggly joke was utterly wasted on yours truly...! I burn corrected. Many of the finer points and subtleties of your language escape me; sometimes I get one of the biddy jokes on my way home from the internet cafe or in bed in the middle of the night... but for each one I get there must be twenty I don't. Sometimes I'm aware of it, sometimes - like now - I'm not. That's okay, but I sometimes worry that the things
I say may be ambiguous in ways that I'm not aware of, which would be difficult for y'all to know, as I'm often deliberately ambiguous. Guess you'll all just have to give me the benefit of the doubt if and when something I say seems unkind.
having said that... Just picking up on your 12.42 posting,
Robinia...! Think I'd better whoosh now... (but I'll probably be back a little later.) (If you're gonna hit me, could you do it with a Swedish magazine.)
