what's the best way to remoave sealant from the bath/adjoining tiles?

Not having much luck peeling it back - tried a penknife and a scraper to know avail. There seems to be multiple layers - a white layer, then a clear layer that is particularly gruesome then another white layer. Is there anything that will disolve it or a special technique/tool? THANKS!

Nykkieberry - go to one of the big DiY chainstores. You can get something called silicone sealant remover

also for scraping off what's left you can either use something like a stanley knife blade held at an angle - or better/safer still get a special tool "window paint scraper" which'll keep your fingers away from the blade.Try: http://www.diy.com/bq/search/search_product_page.j

Nykkie, don't use anything sharp (like a knife or stanley blade) or you may scratch the bath or tiles. For scraping, only use something dull like a wooden spatula or similar.

Just another little tip,when applying silicone tape up around the area with masking tape(the same as if you are painting windows and don't want to get paint on them).saves tons of time later.

Just to let you know silicone sealant remover is most definitely product of the year! chucked it on and peeled it all off a couple of hours later - amazing!! thanks : )
