Hi, We have an open fire that we use to burn various things on including some left over foods. Over the time, things have splattered and ran down the brass piece on the front of fire, and are now baked on. Can anyone suggest how to clean the brass piece so I can get all the baked things off, leaving it nice and shiny? Thanks in advance.

Try spraying it with coca cola. ( not diet) If it s removable then soak it for a few minutes or hours if possible.
