What causes primrose leaves to be eaten at this time of the year.

Probably slugs or snails, put some sharp pea shingle around the roots, or some crushed eggshells, slugs and snails don't like to walk on anything sharp - please don't use slug pellets as they also kill birds. Only something eco friendly please RAS !!
