hi there
can anyone tell me is there a particular sealant that you would use to put on an oven hose (gas) or just ptfe is it boswhite?

hi there
i already have a cooker fitted with a bayonet fitting on the wall but i have just bought a new cooker identical to this and just need to transfer hose
im needing advice not a lecture i fit and commision petrol pumps on petrol stations so im no fool just looking for an answer

By asking this question you are NOT competent to do this work, therefore making it illegal.
Take the advice given and get someone whose corgi regestered.
But for your information PTFE and/or Boss white are a NO NO with gas.

Take it from a CORGI registered installer ... PTFE is a definate NO !!! Did he certify the installation and register it ?
You should have a certificate if he has.
