When redoing a swimming pool, what is the differance between 'Re Plastering' vs. 'Epoxy' Paint of the pool surface??and which is actually best for the pool also what is the formular for the cost, I've been quoted $ 2800.00 to replaster the pool....HELP!!

I have constructed/maintained/repaired many pools large and small professionally and may be able to point you in the right direction but require more information (a) is your pool inside or out (b) when was it built (c) what is its construction (d) how is it waterproofed (e) what is its size (f) level deck or channels (g) what finish does it have at the moment and when was it applied (h) is there a problem (leak or other) (i) what are you trying to achieve and (j) what is your budget.

the pool walls will be made out of polystring blocks that have concerct and ream bar put inside them so i can then put a base in and pipe to a little pump house at the bottom
