I have been stitching rtogether squares of fabric for a patchwork quilt and have lots and lots of it. Enough for 2 kingsize bed sized throws. I was going to just line them but I think about of quilting in them would be nice cos the I can use them downstairs in the chilly months. How do I go about doing it? Do I put the quilting in and stitch it in and then stitch down the centre to make sure it stays?

Can I use a sewing machine on quilting? If so should I use my curtain making machines or the less heavy duty one?

Its a bit vague, I know.
