Identifying a pipe at home - is it gas??
2 Answers
I'm removing a non-supporting wall in my house which a pipe currently runs down. I've been told it might be gas, but how can I check this?

Same for the cold tap the pipe will feel even colder if no change in temperature then turn the heating up to full if you have heating that is and see if it gets hot. If still no change in the temperature of the pipe then it is a good guess that it is a gas pipe and should be left well alone. If in any doubt what so ever consult a proffesional.
