I have a prefab flue( no chmney breast or outsie wall projection). Can i have an inset gas fire fitted?

Yes, your flue might need upgrading however, the best way to tell this is by looking on your roof for a exhaust pipe, if you only have a vent block this will need to be upgraded by a chimney specialist. i am having one fitted inset into an adjoining semi detached and the flue has to be upgraded from this vent block.
