No but you didn't say your water either, your said anyone know why water tastes and smells of tcp. The answer to that is that it doesn't! Mine doesn't smell or taste funny.

it would be affected by the filtering that they put it through in a treatment works. Sometimes this can give it a bad odour or strange taste.

many thanks for most of your answers. Water board have told us all our taps may need new washers!!!

EH!!!!

That's a new one on me, change your tap washers to get rip of a TCP taste, I don't think so....

what Water Board told you that? Numpty Water Board?

Cant see how a washer would affect the taste and smell of water. THat would be the result of something at your loal water treatment plant.

Call them back and tell them to investigate it

also sent a valve for washing machine in case the water is backing up!
