how much would be a fair price for a gardener to mow the lawn and do light work in the garden?

My gardener charges �19 thats for just mowing the front and back garden possibly you could pay more on adding the light work, and it depends how big your garden is hope that helps!

Yup the going rate in Hampshire is around �8 p.hr. as well.

my son is a gardener and he wouldnt get out of bed for �8 per hour....mind you he doesnt mess about and works hard so every hour you pay you get a good hours worth of work..There arent enough hours in a day for him he has more work than he can cope with. Get a gardener on recommendation and if hes pricey its probably because hes good
