Does anyone know of a company who recyles old pill jars? It seems such a waste to just throw them away.

Why not remove the tops and put them in the brown or coloured glass bottle bank. Most supermarkets have them these days.
You can return them to the chemist, they recycle them.
our pharmacy refused to take them, saying it's new policy. if they're glass ones, i would do what pug suggests. other than that, there's not much you can do but bin them and it does seem a waste.
my council recycles all plastics with our household waste collections - see if yours does too.
I use the small plastic pill pots to keep small oddments and seeds for the garden in. If you have a printer (and all AB`s should have one) print off labels and stick them on with sellotape. I found a herbs jar holder and keep mine in it.
