have approached my neighbour about her paved garden which is causing flooding of my garden as they have no drainage. Because of the water table in the area we and our other neighbours have had drainage installed. As I have as yet (now six days) had no response what are my options. Should I also make a formal request for action on her oart after I have spoken to her verbally and as yet I have heard nothing?

I'm not sure what you want this neighbour to do. Do you want her to install drainage? If so, how do you know that she can afford to do this?

To be honest I'm not sure that there's a lot you can do. I'm pretty sure that you can't force someone to install drains into their garden if they don't want to or can afford to. I think you may also find it hard to prove that it is her garden that is causing yours to flood.
