Er. colour run remover from the shop is an idea......
Question Author
Er. thanks! but as colour run is not usually recommended for coloured clothes, i thought someone (preferably not sarcastic) would know of a product that had been.
Who'e being sarcastic!! It works just as well on coloured stuff as well as whites, I was trying to help, but if you are gonna be rude, sort your own mess out!!

How about washing it again with Vanish
stain remover ..worth a try ..cheaper than
new kit ..hope it works ..

Know how you feel and did exactly the same on the weekend when a stray item got into my white washing (again).
Put some hand hot water into your kitchen sink and a scoop of Oxygen powder and work gently as if handwashing delicates. Rewash immediately in usual detergent and rinse on long cycle to remove any residue.
Hope this helps and check the wash label first but think most items are ok with the Oxy stuff. If you don't have the oxy stuff try some bio powder to try and shift most of it.
Good Luck!
Postdog is indeed right. ACDO colour run remover works brilliantly, but depending on the severity it needs several goes. Colour run is best treated as soon as possible.
This happened to me recently. Wash the items again just in cold water. I got some colour catcher sheets and use them nowadays in every wash. They are great cos they absorb any stray colour to stop it getting on something it shouldn't. It also means you can safely wash your whites with your colours.
