hoover aquamaster

Hello, I have the old Hoover Aquamaster grey in colour and I cannot remember how to use it as I have been ill, I looked to see if I can find instructions on line but I cannot I cannot even find the product Number I have looked all over the item.. it has a white like fabric bag inside I presume for the filter but have I something missing if I want to use as a shampooer do I need a bucket to go inside.. really not sure can any one help.. best jane

You need to remove the fabric bag and there should be a gauze mesh over the ball housing on the hoover housing. There should be a grey container that sits around the top of the hoover which contains warm water and shampoo. Then attach the clear flexible plastic tubes from this container along the metal pipes to the clear plastic floor attachment.. Switch the hoover on and open the valve to allow the shampoo to run down the tube - then its trial and error- hope this helps.

have you got any pictures you could send me please as I do not know if I have all the parts you are right there is a cage that site over a ball thing, does it work well when it is going, thank you so much for your reply I am so frustated with it. best jane

I'll have a look for the instructions later - the mesh fits over the ball housing and the fabric bag is only used for dry hoovering.
