What stain remover?

My daughter has managed to stain her new white tracksuit.She has no idea how or what caused it.We have tried all the usual ways to remove it i.e. soaking it in Vanish e.t.c. but to no avail.The only choice now is to use bleach which we are reluctant to do as it may rot the material.The label says its 65%polyester and 35% cotton. Does anyone know any way we can remove it.

Dampen the fabric around the stain and rub in some swarfega in that area, then shove the tracksuit in the washing machine at say 40 deg C (definitely no hotter). I wouldn't use bleach on polyester, it will discolour the material. I don't find Vanish that good actually - swarfega seems to break down stains and grease a lot better !
