I'm no boiler expert Krant................you'll have to wait for one of them to come along............but..........I guess you mean you have no leaks on the secondary side ie radiators etc....................but you might have one inside the boiler (diaphragm possibly)......this would drain to outside, so you might be unaware of it.........
you could have a leak somewhere hidden like under the floorboards, it doesn't take much water loss for a combi to drop on the pressure guage.
the other cause is if the boiler is over pressurising and dumping water out of the back of the boiler. find your boilers flue outside the house, below it somewhere should be a small length of copper pipe, check to see if any water is dripping from it or has been dripping.
call out a heating engineer, have the boiler serviced and ask him to investigate the problem at the same time.

I had the same problem. It could be the seal in the expansion tank inside the bolier which keeps the water pressure up.. When the seal fails, the pressure drops. Best to get an engineer to check. They're not too expensive to replace. If it is this, its unlikely you'll find any water leaking anywhere inside so no worries on that score.
