just a little culinery tip for everyone - don't put a pyrex dish with apples, sugar, ginger and mixed spice in the aga at 7pm one evening and remember it a 10am the following day! contents were carbonised, just like coke - have soaked it for two days with Cillic (?sp) Bang but fear the worst. is oven cleaner stronger (don't use it on the aga so don't have any in stock.) or has any kind soul got any suggestions?

Have known for ages. But read/heard the advice many years ago. It really works.

If diet coke works like biological washing powder, then I am pleased I don't drink it!!!
